A farmer unearths an old top hat on his property and with it an ancient Indian curse that lays waste to all the farmers crops. All of the adults of the farming community are afflicted by a strange sickness that slowly dries them up until they are dust. It is only when the farmer communes with the hat does he find what it is that will save them all.
"The Master of Musical Darkness. That is the nickname being bestowed unto Rain composer David Bateman who has been working tirelessly these past few months to complete the ambitious score for our motion picture. And with each new music piece Dave’s score continues to get darker and more disturbing; and yes that’s a good thing. I’m not quite sure where he’s drawing his inspiration from and perhaps it’s better that way, but the score is nothing short of incredible. Cryptic choral voices mix with bone chilling string arrangements to enhance the film’s macabre imagery. We are working under a tight deadline and want to be mixing the audio by May 25th. After hearing this latest piece of music I’m half expecting goblins to crawl out of the speakers and steal my soul away."
