"Lifelike Mine revolves around the relationship of a young couple, Cyan and Race. Cyan is an early twenties woman who's life is presented with a great conflict. She, like so many women afflicted with like conditions, gradually succombs to the illness of ovarian cancer."

David's Notes:

The idea for this score was to be that of an ambient theme with piano as the primary instrument. Subtle & hidden, almost transparent with the film and floats the viewer from one scene to the next, most of the time without us even knowing it. I wanted to create the music so that you don't even have to see the film to feel the film and the characters. In most situations, the piano resembles so many moods. The male protagonist of the film happens to be a musician - jingle writer. So, I had to make the piano resemble this. When we see the character Cyan, I use an Eastern feel to it, yet keeping the same theme through out the film.
